Dr.Zhanqiang Liu is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Shandong, China. He received the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering fromShandongUniversityand Technology in 1994 and City University of Hong Kong in 1999 respectively. His research interests include high speed machining, mechanical micro-machining, and cutting tool technology. He has received funding from NSFC, 973, 863, and numerous industrial companies. Dr. Liu has over 10 years of experience in teaching and researching about metal cutting. He has been a reviewer for several international journals. He has published over 80 refereed papers in international journals and conferences.
